A combination of rolled steel andConkers Wood and Metal Crafts designed and produced a complete installation including ceiling roses, electrical trunking and a beautiful vintage cast iron and brass light switch, all finished again in a painted ‘barn style’ patina oak whiskey barrel staves has been used to produce this amazing and unique trio of lanterns, designed to provide subtle relaxed lighting in a garden pergola.

Clever use of materials eliminate the need for lots of fixings and incorporating huge LED bulbs gives a modern twist with these ‘barn style’ lanterns.

Conkers Wood and Metal Crafts designed and produced a complete installation including ceiling roses, electrical trunking and a beautiful vintage cast iron and brass light switch, all finished again in a painted ‘barn style’ patina.

We saw Eddie Priscott’s display at the Abingdon Craft Fair in November last year. We were immediately taken with a set of three stools that were made out of single plank of oak, with a natural crack in the wood filled with a blue resin. This colour matched some resin used in a piece of ceramic art that we had in our open plan kitchen-lounge. We asked Eddie if he could make the three seats into bar stools so that we could sit at our breakfast bar. He made new tripod bases out of metal, with rubber feet to protect our wooden floor. Then we asked him for a fourth stool. All of which was no problem. He and Hayley delivered them one evening, and we have been enjoying them ever since. We would thoroughly recommend him for his abilities, service and price, all of which were excellent.”
